GRUNDFOS ALPHA 2
GRUNDFOS ALPHA2 is the new generation of small circulation pumps in the highest energy class “A”. The ALPHA2 circulator is the youngest and most innovative member of the family of high quality Grundfos circulators. The use of these pumps is to circulate water in heating systems and in hot water systems.
The circulator pump meets the requirements of the EuP directive.
AUTOADAPT function
In the case of the ALPHA2 pump, there are no concerns about the complicated settings and adjustment of the pump. If you leave the factory settings for AUTOADAPT, the pump automatically analyzes the heating system, searches for the optimal settings and adapts to the requirements and changes to heat. For a more detailed description of the AUTOADAPT function, refer to the enclosed catalog sheet. The AUTOADAPT function can be deactivated by selecting another mode (proportional or constant pressure or conventional three-speed operation).

The mechanical seal is made from silicon carbide designed for easy replacement. Motor
The pump is coupled to a sealed liquid cooled 2-pole asynchronous squirrel-cage motor constructed of stainless steel. Single phase motors should be supplied with purpose designed Dayliff SCM control boxes for operation and protection against overload, dry running and over/under voltage. Three phase motors require a remote DOL starter; A DAYLIFF SCT electronic Pump Controller is recommended for comprehensive pump control including low level, motor overload and irregular power supply protection.
